Warning graphic pic: Female Suicide Bomber hits Bauchi


This trend of using females is now alarming .According to AFP a female suicide bomber blew herself up this evening Sunday November 16, at a mobile phone market in Azare Bauchi State, killing several people....
A witness told AFP"

“A suicide bomber came into the market as it was closing and blew herself up in the middle of all the merchants and their customers,”
I saw at least eight dead and lots of others wounded,” another witness, Alyu Habib said.

A cargo plane carrying the remains of 74 South Africans killed in Prophet TB Joshua's church building collapse landed in Pretoria, South Africa today, two months after the accident. According to AFP, a chartered Antonov plane laden with four mortuary vans landed at the Waterkloof air force base shortly before 8am GMT in an event carried live by public broadcaster SABC. Nigeria released the bodies last night after a high-level government delegation led by Jeff Radebe, a minister in the presidency, spent a week in Nigeria to fast-track the repatriation process. The head of the mega-church and one of Nigeria’s most popular preachers, TB Joshua, suggested that a low-flying aircraft reportedly seen over the building four times before it came down was to blame for the collapse, and said he had been targeted in a deliberate attack. The remains of another nine South Africans among the 116 people killed on September 12 will be repatriated after the DNA identification process is complete. More pic below

In 2014, Ventures Africa counted 55 African billionaires with a net worth totalling $161.7 billion, a 12.4% rise from $143.8 billion in 2013.

This year Nigeria remains the continent’s top contributor to the Rich List. Of the 55billionaires, 23 are Nigerian. Their collective wealth is $77.7 billion. This is 48 percent of the total Rich List wealth, almost as much as the other countries combined.

A 70-year-old man, Adebola Oyewole Asiwaju, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for allegedly attempting to fraudulently sell the shares of one Olalere Sunday Oladosu.

To perfect the scam, the suspect allegedly forged documents and opened a bank account in a new generation bank, with the assumed name of “Olalere Sunday Oladosu”.
Then, he proceeded to instruct Marina Securities, a brokerage, to dispose of 1.7million units of Zenith Bank shares valued at N42million and remit the proceeds to the account he opened with the new generation bank.

The School of Engineering building of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, housing several offices and a large classroom was ravaged by fire last night November 15th, destroying documents and properties worth millions of Naira. The fire started around 10pm and completely burnt the complex.

Synagogue: 74 bodies corpses to be flown to South African night for proper burial


74 bodies of South African nationals who died in the September 12th Synagogue building collapse, have been released to the South African government and will be flown to South Africa this night.

The bodies which were retrieved from the General Hospital, Yaba and the Isolo General Hospital, were placed in mobile mortuaries pictured above. They will depart Nigeria via 2 chartered airplanes at exactly 11.50pm. Upon their arrival in South Africa, the corpses will be handed to families of the victims for proper burial. RIP TO THEM ALL

Ebola: Sierra Leone Surgeon To Be Flown To US


Dr Martin Salia, who is a citizen of Sierra Leone but also a permanent US resident, will be treated at the University of Nebraska Medical Centre in Omaha, a federal government source said.
The US Embassy in Sierra Leone said Dr Salia, who will arrive in the US on Saturday afternoon, is paying for the evacuation himself.
The 44-year-old is married to a US citizen and has several children, according to CBS News.
Dr Salia is reported to live in Maryland and had been working at Kissy United Methodist Hospital in Sierra Leone's capital, Freetown, when he caught the deadly virus.

Tiger Paw Prints Found Near Paris


More than 100 police officers and firefighters are searching for a big cat after it was apparently spotted at a service station and paw prints were found.
The animal - initially believed to be a tiger - was first spotted on Thursday in the car park of the Intermarche supermarket at Montevrain in the Seine-et-Marne district east of the French capital.
Soldiers were preparing to join the search as it resumed for a second day following the fresh sighting at the Total petrol station along the A4 motorway at Ferrieres-en-Brie.
The paw prints were discovered at around 6.45am local time on Friday and are being examined by experts, Le Parisien reported.

Benue State Gov, Gabriel Suswam and his deputy, Chief Steven Lawani, were involved in a road accident on Friday in which eight people were injured.

The accident came a day before the governor’s 50th birthday which holds today.

The governor’s official vehicle in which he was travelling and his spare vehicle were directly affected by the impact of the crash. The two officials who were in the same vehicle escaped unhurt.

It was gathered that the governor and his deputy were on their way to an official assignment in Wannune, Tarka Local Government Area and Gboko when the accident occurred.

Military: Three death has been confirm in helicopter crash in Yola


A statement released by the Nigeria military, confirming the crash of its patrol helicopter yesterday night in Yola and also revealed that 3 crew members aboard the helicopter died in the crash. Find the statement below

The Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) on Thursday reportedly visited President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja.

The Catholic bishops, who were led by its president, Bishop Ignatius Kaigama, told the President that ‘all is not well with the country,’ the Punch reports.
According to him, the people they were supposed to look after as spiritual fathers are being kidnapped or displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency, which has now turned the members into refugees in their home land, said that was their message to the President.

How Buyer Was killed By Trader In Lagos
