UK to return back ex-Delta Governor James Ibori's £6.8m loot to Nigeria
The UK has united to return an extra £6.8m to Nigeria from the cash taken from confined ex-Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori.
This was disclosed by Britain Metropolitan Police Senior Investigator, Mr. Rupert Broad, yesterday in London in step with a report by NAN. Out of the £8 million confiscate from Ibori, £1.2 million had to date been came to African nation.
There ar reports that an extra £80 million has been quickly taken and a seizure hearing has been mounted for Apr 2015 before the choose decides precisely what proportion was taken out of the £80 million and return it to Nigeria
Ibori who is serving a jail term, was sentenced by the British Southcrown Court in Apr 2012 for thirteen years when being guilty for fraud and concealment.
