A mum-of-three is counting herself lucky after she suffered an incredible 29 heart attacks in just 24 hours.
Lucia Cassidy, 34, was rushing around caring for her children when she collapsed and suffered the first of her life-threating attacks.
Exhausted Lucia wasn't eating or drinking properly in the run up to the cardiac arrests. And after suffering from an upset stomach and sickness, she was rushed to hospital fighting for her life.
In the space of 24 hours Lucia's heart stopped 29 times and medical teams had to battle to get her heart started again - each time using the defibrillators to revive her.
She is now fighting fit, showing her strength in fitness competitions, after making an incredible recovery.
Lucia, from Edmonton, North London, said: "I just feel so lucky to be alive- people can't believe it when I tell them what happened.
"I didn't have any warning before the heart attacks happened and I didn't see it coming as I try to stay fit and healthy.
"I had my three boys one after the other and my main concern is being a good mother to my children. I was more concerned with looking after everybody else and I forgot about myself.
"I was always running around after the kids and I found myself too busy to eat or drink, I was just surviving off very little.
