The accused was arrested on August 23, 2013 at Link 26, Bawo Road, Hausawa Quarters, Kano, for allegedly retransmitting signals of the pay TV, DSTV, without authorization.

27-Year-old Robbery Suspect - I had Sex With Dogs For Spiritual Powers

A 27-year-old robbery suspect has revealed that he usually had sex with his dogs for spiritual powers before going for any robbery operation in Lagos State, PM news reports.
The suspect, Bala Yayah, said his success in most of his robbery operations was because he usually had sex with dogs.

The Beninoise who resides in Badagry area of Lagos State, said despite the fact that he has many girlfriends, he has ten female dogs he usually had sex with.
He revealed that he takes proper care of the dogs from his robbery loot.
Yayah was recently arrested by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, led by Abba Kyari.
One of his gang members, Hassan Ado, who was arrested during a foiled robbery operation, implicated Yayah during interrogation.

Armed robber killed in Ogun State

 Ogun state woke up this morning to a disturbing news of an armed robbery attack involving three young men of under 24. They started disturbing the community at 2am during which they raided four houses. They carted away over N100,000 in one of the houses and many phones.

The vigilante rose to the occasion of safeguarding the community to forestall further attack when one of the thieves was shot dead while the remaining two escaped. At about 9am today, two more suspects were arrested before being whisked away to the police station with the corpse

Residents of the area said the man was preparing to blow himself up when he was spotted. The mob refused to hand him over to the police and immediately set him on fire.

Sierra Leone surgeon flown to US for treartment dies of EVD

A surgeon who contracted the Ebola virus while working in Sierra Leone died at the Nebraska medical center where he had been flown for treatment, hospital officials said Monday.

Late Dr Martin Salia who had US residency and was married to an American, arrived for treatment in the state on Saturday November 15th in a critical condition after leaving Freetown by air ambulance.

Miss Honduras 2014 and Sister goes Missing

Miss Honduras 2014 Maria Jose Alvarado has been missing since last Thursday Nov 13th. Maria, 19, who was due to fly to London this past Sunday to join other contestants for the 2014 Miss World pageant, vanished along with her sister, Sofia, after attending a friend's party that Thursday night in Santa Barbara, Honduras. A 300level student of Bells University of Technology in Ota, Ogun state named Ruth Idahosa died around 2am this morning after suffering an Asthma attack late last night.

A video of a Kenyan woman being stripped naked by men on a street in Nairobi for dressing 'inappropriately' has sparked outrage in the country leading to several protests. Several women, including celebs and politicians took to the streets of Kenya today to protest the harassment calling for it to be illegal and asking government to arrest the men shown in the video stripping the woman naked.

The protesters have also started a campaign called #MyDressMyChoice, saying undressing a woman in public is sexual harassment.  More pic below

62-year-old woman killed and corpse dumped on bridge

A Muslim Cleric, Mr. Isiaka Akanbi,, has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly killing of a 62 year old woman, Raliatu Kareem after stealing her wallet and other personal effects.‎ Mr. Isiaka ‎owns a traditional healing centre on Lawani Street, Olodi Apapa, Lagos‎ and the late woman, Raliatu was his close customer for years. 

It was gathered that on Saturday, October 25, Raliatu who lived in Agbado Ijaiye, Lagos, went to visit her niece who put to bed in the Olodi Apapa area. She was said to have left her house in Ijaiye after the monthly environmental exercise was over, informing her 20-year-old son, Abdullahi, of the visit after which she reportedly headed for the Alfa’s place at about 6pm.

 

Former US soldier, Peter Kassig beheaded by ISIS

Former US soldier and aide worker Peter Kassig has been beheaded by ISIS. The US government confirmed his killing in a statement today after reviewing a video ISIS released that purported to show the beheading. The 26 year old Indianapolis man was captured in eastern Syria on Oct. 1, 2013, while delivering relief supplies for the aid group he founded.
