2face Idibia in an interview with Blackhouse Media revealed that his wife Annie Idibia is not his favorite actress.
The artiste who is one of the headliners was at a media parley held for the Hennessy Artistry tour. When asked who he favorite actress was, expecting his wife Annie to be the response he said Jada Pinkett Smith instead.
Annie Idibia is a fast rising actress on the Nollywood movie scene who begun her acting career in 2008. Movies she has featured in include White Chapel, Blackberry Babes, Without Kingdom, Bride Wars,My Soulmate.

Report: Chibokgirls to be released on Monday

Finally, there are strong indications that the 218 schoolgirls abducted six months ago in Chibok, Borno State, by the violent Boko Haram sect may be released on Monday following a ceasefire agreement the sect negotiators reached with the Federal Government.
The Government, through the Nigerian military, had on Friday said that it had agreed to a ceasefire with the heartless terrorists group and that the Chibok girls would soon be released. The deal was announced by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh.
Nigerian military has struggled to defeat Boko Haram which began attack against Nigeria since 2009.
The President’s Principal Secretary, Hassan Tukur, told BBC Focus on Africa that an agreement to end the Boko Haram hostilities had been reached after talks with the violent group.
He said, “The Boko Haram members have assured us that they have the girls and that they will release them. I am cautiously optimistic.”

Nigeria in a peaceful Agreement With Boko Haram Sect

According to a report on Channels TV, the Nigerian government has reached a ceasefire agreement with Boko Hraram following today's meeting between government officials led by President Jonathan's principal private secretary, Amb. Tukur, Chadian government and reps of the sect group led by Danaldi Ahmadu.

To this end, the Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, has directed all service chiefs to comply with the ceasefire agreement between Nigeria and Boko Haram in all areas of operations. Securing the release of the 219 Chibok girls abducted by Boko Haram was a major part of their discussions.
The Boko Haram sect was represented by Danladi Ahmadu at the meeting.

The starting-point was the arrival of Patrick Sawyer at Lagos airport where he collapsed and was suspected of suffering from malaria.
Taken to a private clinic, tests were carried out and during the wait for the results several staff became infected.

How 12-yr-old Girl was Infected with HIV

The police in Bauchi State, on Tuesday, arrested a 35-year-old man for infecting a 12-year-old girl with HIV.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Haruna Mohammed, in a press statement he made available to journalists in Bauchi, on Thursday, saying the man had been
HIV positive and on medication since 2004.

According to the statement, the suspect had been having series of sexual intercourse with the girl, who is a groundnut hawker, repeatedly since 2012, adding that the girl was diagnosed with the disease when she started having strange symptoms.

''On the 14/10/2014 at about 17:30hrs, one Sabo Korau, male and 35-year-old of Unguwan Dawaki, Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State was arrested for having series of sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old girl repeatedly since 2012,until now when victim began to show sign of strange symptoms. She was taken to the hospital and was diagnosed HIV positive," Mohammed, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) stated.

He further informed that police's preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect took advantage of the girl being a groundnut hawker, adding that the case was under investigation, while the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigation was concluded.

Housewife kills husband with hot water.

An 18-year-old housewife in Bauchi State has been arraigned at the Chief Magistrate’s Court 7, Bauchi, for allegedly killing her husband with hot water.
Aisha Jibrin was said to have lost one of her front teeth as a result of beatings received from her husband, who accused her of going for an abortion without his consent. It was not certain at press time if the quarrel was over the issue of the paternity of the aborted baby or the abortion itself. She
was said to have poured hot water on Ladan who was taking his bath, which led to his death in a hospital. The incident happened on Wednesday, October 8, at the couple’s residence at Jahun Ward, Bauchi Metropolis, at about 5p.m.

According to local media report, a Nigerian student had lodged a police report in Puchong on Sunday October 12th claiming his girlfriend had been kidnapped by Osazuwa and his gang.

"The boyfriend said he received a call from a suspect who demanded RM40,000 for the release of his girlfriend, also a Nigerian student here. We suspected the kidnappers were people that the victim must have known. Police immediately tracked the victim and her kidnappers’ whereabouts.” criminal investigator Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah said.

Africa to get Ebola treament drug from China

Could a Chinese experimental drug be the treatment so desperately needed in the fight against Ebola?
Aid workers have taken the medication with them to Africa, “in case” one of them is infected.
The drug is manufactured by a Chinese pharmaceutical company with military ties. The company is planning clinical trials there to combat a deadly outbreak of the disease, executives at the firm said today.
Sihuan Pharmaceutical Holdings has supplied several thousand doses of its drug JK-05 to the region, chief operating officer Jia Zhongxin said. More doses could be sent if needed, Jia said.
An Ebola outbreak in West Africa, the worst on record, has killed more than 4 000 people.
Governments and drugmakers around the globe have been racing to find a treatment for the outbreak, which has spread as far as the United States and Europe. US President Barack Obama has pledged to get more “aggressive” against the disease.

Stephen Keshi sacked, Amodu appointed to replace him

The Nigeria Football Federation has announced the sack of Stephen Keshi as coach of the Super Eagles early on Thursday morning.
He will be replaced, alongside his assistants Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu, by a consortium of local coaches led by former coach Amodu Shaibu who will handle the team’s remaining Africa Cup of Nations qualification matches until a substantive trainer is employed.
Keshi’s job had come under intense scrutiny since the start of the qualifiers in September when the team lost 3-2 to Congo at home before picking one point in a draw against South Africa in Cape Town.
A further defeat in Khartoum to Sudan made his tenure look like coming to an inglorious end after a fairy tale year where he led the Super Eagles to victory at the 2013 Afcon in South Africa.
The title defense in Morocco next year was looking bleak until Wednesday’s 3-1 victory over Sudan in Abuja restored a glimmer of hope.

The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, Mr. Salihu Garba who disclosed this to journalists stated that the police had arrested three of the suspects, Kadri Rafiu, Sikiru Jimoh and Mustapha Nasiru and were on the trail of the fleeing five suspects.

“On Wednesday, around 2pm, a woman in Ilorin was gang raped by eight boys. In the course of investigation, three of the suspects were arrested and we are on the trail of the remaining suspects.”
In his statement to the police, one of the suspects, Jimoh, confessed that seven of them actually raped the victim. He disclosed that the boyfriend of the victim, identified as Tunji, lured the girl to them while they had a field day forcefully having carnal knowledge of the lady.

“It is the work of Satan which I deeply regret. Actually, seven of us raped her. We have known one another for sometime as we live in the same street. Her boyfriend, Tunji, invited her and we raped her. Seven of us carried out the act but the boyfriend ran away. I regret my action.” He disclosed.
