American rapper, Kanye West was rushed to hospital in Melbourne, Australia for reasons unknown on Wednesday afternoon. But the singer later performed in stage same night.

A source revealed that the hip-hop mogul visited Melbourne hospital to undergo an emergency MRI.

Nurses at the hospital immediately cleared the MRI waiting room in order for the superstar to receive a private VIP treatment, Woman’s Day reported, but a woman who saw West there said the singer had either experienced a seizure or was believed to be on the verge of experiencing one....MORE>>>

21-year-old student from Senegal’s Makes Full Recovery from Ebola...

Dakar (dpa/NAN) – Senegal’s Ministry of Health on Wednesday said the country’s first Ebola patient, a 21-year-old student from Guinea, has made full recovery.

The ministry’s Director of Disease Control, Idrissa Talla, told newsmen in Dakar.

According to the director, the unnamed male student is free of Ebola symptoms and tested negative to the virus on two occasions.

Statistics show's that 500,000 jobs created in 6 months

The figure was announced by the Statistician-General of the Federation, Dr. Yemi Kale, at a workshop organised by the NBS for the review of definition and methodology for computing unemployment statistics in Nigeria.

He said the new figure was arrived at through a recent job creation survey carried out by the NBS for the first and second quarters of 2014.

Nigerian Medical Association (NMA): schools to remain closed until early next year

The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has rejected the Monday September 22nd resumption directive given by FG to all Primary and Secondary schools due to the Ebola outbreak in Nigeria.
The NMA speaking through its National Publicity Secretary, Dr Olawunmi Layaki, said they expect all schools to remain closed until December or early next year when all Ebola suspects under surveillance have been cleared and certified free of the virus.

"We are not happy with this decision on the resumption of schools. Schools should be shut till the last suspected case or patient is certified free of the virus. We can shift the resumption date till next year or in the next three months if that is the time it will take....MORE.....

US Air Marshal In ‘quarantine after being attacked yesterda at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport

A US Air Mashal is in quarantine in Houston today after being allegedly attacked yesterday by an unknown assailant at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, wielding a syringe.

U.S. law enforcement officials told ABC News they were alarmed by the bizarre, unprovoked attack because the assailant was apparently able to inject an unknown substance into the back of one of the air marshal’s arms. The air marshal was traveling with a team of other marshals when the attack took place in an unsecured area of the airport terminal in Lagos, the officials said.
