MH17: Plane with Malaysian bodies arrives in Kuala Lumpur

A specially chartered plane took off from Amsterdam and landed around 10:00 local time (02:00 GMT).

National flags will be flying at half-mast across the country and a minute of silence will be observed.

Flight MH17 is believed to have been shot down by a missile fired by pro-Russian rebels. They deny the claim.

All 298 passengers and crew on board the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 died on 17 July.

BBC NEWS: Boko Haram takes over Police Academy in Borno state

Boko Haram men today August 21st reportedly invaded the Liman Kara Police college, a riot police training academy in Gwoza, Borno state and took over the academy.
According to BBC, the sect men arrived the town in armored cars and dozens of motorcycles. Scores of trainees at the academy have been reported killed while many managed to escape to nearby mountains for safety. More details later

Health Official claims: Herbalist caused Ebola Outbreak in Sierra Leonean..

According to a top medical officer in Sierra Leone Mohamed Vandi, a woman who claimed she had powers to help heal people infected with Ebola triggered the major outbreak.

The official tells AFP that the outbreak spread from Guinea because of a herbalist in the remote eastern border village of Sokoma, Eastern Sierra Leone.

19 years rapes chicken to death in Ondo

A 19 year old welder apprentice was caught yesterday August 19th after having sex with a chicken at the Continental area of Akure, the Ondo state capital.

According to reports by Vanguard, the boy was discovered to have committed the act after the owner of the chicken, Mrs Stella Akintola, who is the boy's neighbor and reared chickens in the compound, heard her chickens making noise inside their pen and decided to go and find out why they were restless. Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh dies from Ebola virus

Yes, unfortunately it's true. Just confirmed from a family source. Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, the Senior Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist who was one of the doctors who attended to Patrick Sawyer at First Consultant Hospital has died from the Ebola virus which she contracted from Sawyer.

ISIS claims to have beheaded U.S. journalist

An American journalist kidnapped in 2012 James Wright Foley was beheaded in an ISIS video release on Youtube on Tuesday 19th August 2014. It was later taken down from Youtube for violation of its policies.

The video was titled “A Message to America”.
