A woman has survived being stabbed through the forehead with a huge kitchen knife.
Alcileide Rodrigues dos Santos was conscious enough to describe the attack to the police after being found with the blade embedded in her skull.
The 22-year-old was left with the knife stuck just fractions of a inch over her right eye after allegedly being stabbed by her ex-boyfriend.

But she managed to communicate with officers as they launched a search for her alleged attacker Roberto Martins dos Anjos, 19.
She told cops the pair had rowed at about 5pm on Tuesday - and that dos Anjos stabbed her when the fight escalated.
After being stabbed she said she then sat down on a nearby bench, where she was discovered by cops.
Luckily the knife did not penetrate her brain.
